What are Integers?
Integers are all the numbers you can count with, including numbers below zero.
Think of them like a complete number family:
- Positive numbers: 1, 2, 3, 4, ...
- Negative numbers: -1, -2, -3, -4, ...
- Zero: 0
Everyday Examples
Temperature:
In winter, some places are very cold. The temperature can be:
Delhi: 15°C (positive)
Leh: -10°C (negative - below zero!)
Money:
When you save money: +₹500
When you spend money: -₹200
When you have no money: ₹0
Cricket Score:
Runs scored: +50
Wickets lost: -3
